Babysitting Is Out. Creative Learning Is In!
We know our children must obtain every advantage they can gain in order to thrive in this competitive 21st century world. Going beyond simply memorizing ABC’s, our academic focus begins with developing critical and creative thinking skills. Through the use of multimedia and hands-on learning, academic concepts are reinforced to accommodate every learning style.
Our creative learning process integrates four key components to help children learn and retain knowledge –
- computer technology
- multimedia presentations
- field trips
- guest speakers
This serves to activate each child’s natural curiosity and imagination. We know that if we can ignite in them a love for learning early, we have the opportunity to change the trajectory of their entire lives.
Little Creations Learning Center intentionally places emphasis on building strong character within our children and staff. It is at the heart of what we do. We believe strong character builds strong people. Strong people build strong families. Strong families build strong communities. Strong communities will build a strong society, and a better world for our children’s children to grow up in. Interwoven into our daily structure is a strong commitment to the principles of C.R.E.S.T.
Our teachers work with our parents to reinforce these principles at home with their children.
At Little Creations Learning Center, we are a family. When we enroll a child, it is like enrolling the entire family. We know we can provide a safe, engaging learning environment, but the true success of each child depends on how this is reinforced at home. The more a parent is involved in their children’s education, the better the child’s motivation, behavior, and grades become.
Little Creations Learning Center believes in the “village” approach – everyone is responsible for helping shape the future of our children. To this end, Little Creations actively seeks partnerships with community and business members for sponsorship opportunities, donations, field trips, guest speakers, facility utilization, and more …
Little Creations Learning Center has partnered with United States Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). CACFP meal patterns lay the foundation for a healthy eating pattern for children in our care. At each meal and snack, we follow the program’s best practices. Healthy eating leads to a more effective learning environment for our happy, healthy children.
